Sleep

I’ve always had sleep issues which have only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older and gone through menopause.  For me, getting to sleep at a reasonable hour means midnight or one a.m.  A little less reasonable is two or three a.m.

And then up around eight a.m. (You can see the problem if I’m asleep at 3 a.m. and up by 8 a.m.)

I need a minimum of six and preferably seven or more hours to be at my best.  If I get less than this, I’m toast for at least the next morning.  Or I crash at 3 p.m. and nap for awhile.

So my goal is to sleep for a minimum of six hours a night, every night.  No exceptions.  Seven is preferable, but I’ll take six, as long as I get that.

I'd Love to Hear from You . . .
