I think sitting meditation is a good thing and I’ve done it and then not done it for periods of time.
As a person who suffers from anxiety I finally realized that the best way for me to handle it in the moment is to have a bedrock of meditation to draw upon; not try and wait until I was stressed to meditate, in other words.
So my goal is 20 minutes per day of sitting meditation, preferably in one sitting. Every day.
